DESCRIPTION:\nDr. Mruthyunjaya, Former Director, National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research, New Delhi, and Consultant to the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), New Delhi (2014-15), visited our office on May 22, 2025.\nDuring the visit, Dr. Mruthyunjaya was introduced to the projects “The Dynamics of Agricultural Innovation in North India” and “The Dynamics of Agricultural Innovation in South India” ( https://fas.org.in/research/research-projects/the-dynamics-of-agricultural-innovation-in-india/ ) by Tapas Modak, the Project Manager. He engaged in a detailed discussion with the Principal Investigators for the projects, Professor Madhura Swaminathan and Dr. Sandipan Baksi.
