Session 2C on Day 2 (November 7, 2025) of the International Conference on Agrarian Change was chaired and discussed by Jens Lerche (Professor, Agrarian and Labour Studies, SOAS University of London). The speakers were Avinash (GITAM School of Humanities and Social Sciences), Saqib Khan (Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, GITAM School of Humanities and Social Sciences), Gaurav Bansal (PhD Scholar, University of East Anglia), and Aman Bardia (Assistant Director, Platform Cooperativism Consortium, The New School, NYU).

The speakers highlighted how agrarian change across states reflects region-specific histories, land regimes, and power structures.
