Research Intern

Duration: Two months
Purpose:
FAS seeks to immediately hire a Research Intern to work on processing of primary data from two villages of Uttar Pradesh. These villages were recently resurveyed under the Foundation’s Project on Agrarian Relations in India. Project on Agrarian Relations in India (PARI) is a project to study villages over a wide range of different agro-ecological zones in India. PARI now covers 27 villages in 12 Sates of the country.
The Research Intern will be required to assist in data entry, cleaning, processing and analysis of this data.
The selected candidate will work out of the Foundation’s office in Bengaluru.
Qualification : The ideal candidate should at least be a graduate in a social science subject, preferably from Economics, Development Studies or Sociology.
Remuneration: Commensurate to the experience of the candidate
