Dr. Manoj Patel, Research Associate at ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), New Delhi, visited the FAS office during the second week of April 2026. Dr. Patel is associated with the Foundation through the ongoing projects, “The Dynamics of Agricultural Innovation in North India” and “The Dynamics of Agricultural Innovation in South India,” which are being undertaken in collaboration with Monash University, Australia, and ICAR-NBPGR.
During his visit, he worked closely with the project team on stocktaking activities, with a particular focus on crop improvement innovations. He also delivered a detailed presentation on the seed system in India, covering various aspects such as the organisational setup and the different stakeholders involved in the seed supply chain.
