PARI Survey: Sample Survey Begins in West Godavari

On June 22, 2026, the Foundation for Agrarian Studies (FAS) commenced the sample survey for the West Godavari Round of the Project on Agrarian Relations in India (PARI). Following the completion of training, field investigators began the detailed survey in the study village of Yendagandi before moving on to Panduvva.
The detailed household survey serves as the principal instrument for collecting comprehensive information on the demographic, social, and economic characteristics of households in all villages studied under the Project for Agrarian Relations in India (PARI) by the Foundation for Agrarian Studies. The questionnaire covers a wide range of topics, including household composition, land ownership and tenancy, agricultural production, input use, labour, non-agricultural employment, migration, business and self-employment, institutional support, animal resources, housing and amenities, credit, asset ownership, and aquaculture. The data provide a comprehensive understanding of household livelihoods, agrarian relations, and the changing rural economy across the study villages.
