Sumedha Bajar, Post Doctoral Fellow, National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore, gave a seminar titled “An Introduction to the Agricultural Economy of Tripura.” She presented data on land use and cropping pattern, irrigation, the area under major crops, and production and yields, by size class of land holding and social categories.
