The Foundation for Agrarian Studies has recently undertaken a study titled “Agrarian Relations in the Lower Cauvery Delta.”
As part of the study, we plan to do a census type household survey of two villages, Venmani and Palakurichi, in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. The survey is scheduled to begin on May 01, 2019, and shall continue for about sixty days till the end of June. This will be preceded by a two-day rigorous training for the field investigators in Velankanni.
