On June 10, 2022, the Foundation organised an in-house seminar to critically discuss the methodology employed by the Project on Agrarian Relations in India (PARI) for processing the data on tenancy and mortgage of land. The processing of tenancy and mortgage of land of a particular households is obtained from block 5 of the PARI database. This seminar was part of a larger exercise undertaken by PARI to standardize its data matrices from 27 villages across 12 states in the country.
The seminar was attended by Madhura Swaminathan, Sandipan Baksi, Soham Bhattacharya, Arindam Das, Tapas Singh Modak, Subhajit Patra, Rakesh Kumar Mahato, Deepak Johnson, Sethu C.A. and Ritam Dutta.
