PARI Survey Concludes in West Godavari

The Foundation for Agrarian Studies recently conducted a socio-economic survey in two villages – Panduvva and Yendagandi — in West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, in June and July 2026. The project is part of the Foundation’s village survey, Project on Agrarian Relations in India (PARI).

The survey was carried out in two stages: a household listing of more than 1,850 households followed by a detailed sample survey of 380 households.

The survey was conducted using a digital data collection tool. The first phase of the study — the socio-economic survey — concluded on July 16, 2026. The survey team comprised students from various universities, including the University of Hyderabad, GITAM University, Pondicherry University, Azim Premji University, and researchers and collaborators associated with the Foundation.
